Donate to Support Hotel Workers on Strike!

 In News

Dear Community Allies,

Hundreds of workers remain on strike in Richmond at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport and Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport hotels. These include young professionals, parents and even grandparents that are on the picket line. They are making sacrifices to keep fighting ONE DAY LONGER for the secure jobs and fair pay all workers deserve!

Striking hotel workers in Richmond are making personal and financial sacrifices to fight for justice on the job. Their fight brings all working people one step closer to demanding respect in our industries.

Sheraton Vancouver Airport hotel workers stand united for living wages. Now in their THIRD MONTH of the strike, they continue to fight for fair pay from the hotel so they can support their families in Metro Vancouver. Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport hotel workers have been on strike for OVER 2 YEARS – the longest hotel strike in BC history! Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport workers continue to fight for job security and a fair contract. They are asking for the hotel to recall their coworkers terminated during the pandemic – many of them women, some who had worked at the hotel for over 30 years.

Any amount donated helps our fight!

“Every time workers stand up and demand fair wages, demand respect, demand dignity…you’re doing it for every worker. Your fight is not just for you, your fight is for every worker.”

– NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, addressing Sheraton YVR strikers

Thank you for your solidarity!
