Come join us at the Maritime Labour Centre on Triumph Street in Vancouver, BC, Canada for a day filled with celebration and empowerment! We are proud to present ILWU CANADA’s International Women’s Day, a special event dedicated to honoring and uplifting women from all walks of life.

Get ready for a evening of inspiring speeches, thought-provoking discussions. Our lineup of talented speakers will share their stories, insights, and experiences, providing valuable perspectives on ILWU women in leadership.

Our keynote this year will be the legendary Mich-Elle Myers from the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA). Mich-Elle brings a unique persective of working in a male donimated industry while navigating the challenges of workers rights and political action. She is a powerhouse not just on the docks but in her personal life as well always reaching to new heights. She is the Assistance National Secretary and the Vice President of the Australian Labour Party.

At the event we will have t-shirts for $30 and hoodies for $60 for sale. We will also have a cash bar and drinks will be $5 each. Please be sure to bring cash only for your purchases at the event.
