Join Us As We Save Canadian Jobs

Hi,

My name is Jordan H. Green, a proud third-generation Canadian, and I lost my job because of a foreign temporary replacement worker.

There are thousands of honest, reliable, dedicated and hard-working Canadians who have lost their jobs across the country, thanks to the Federal government’s Foreign Temporary Worker Program, which uses our Canadian tax dollars to make it more economical for big business to fly in temporary contractors from other countries — often with their family in tow — put them up in low cost rental housing/apartments, and pay them sub-standard wages, rather than keep Canadian citizens in these jobs.

If you remember a few weeks ago, Canada’s largest bank, The Royal Bank of Canada or RBC, not only was taking advantage of this tax-payer funded program, but it even forced it’s Canadian staff to train the very foreign temporary contractors that were replacing them!

All five of Canada’s big banks, along with numerous companies in just about every sector have been taking advantage of our Canadian tax-dollar funded Foreign Temporary Worker Program, putting Canadians out of work, replacing them with cheaper temporary contractors from other countries, for years.

If the thought of your tax dollars being used to put Canadians out of work, unable to support themselves and their families sickens you — you aren’t alone.

I’ve created Save Canadian Jobs — an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to raise awareness of this nasty government program while putting pressure on Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the rest of the politicians in Ottawa to end this.

I’m currently seeking out partnerships with like-minded organizations to help us educate Canadians, while sending a serious message to Ottawa. And that’s why I’m writing to you today, to ask the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Canada to join us on our mission to rid the country this horrible government legislation.

We are still in the early stages of our project — which is why I am contacting you now — to join with us so when we launch our project, we’ll carry a mighty powerful force which can’t be ignored.
