Negotiations Update

Your negotiating committee is hard at work at the negotiating table with the BCMEA to produce a collective agreement for the membership. In the last 14 months at the table there has been little movement from the employer. With the Federal election underway the Union “cannot strike” and the employers may not “lock-out” the Union, until 20 days after the election. DO NOT pay attention to false rumours or calls to arms.
