Work Stoppage Meeting June 19, 2019
On June 13, 2019 the Longshore Contract Caucus met to review the terms of the Tentative Agreement. The Caucus voted to send the Tentative Agreement to the members for ratification with the recommendation of adoption.
On June 19th, 2019 there will be an industry wide Work Stoppage meeting to discuss the terms of the Tentative Agreement with the members of each Local.
Locations for Work Stoppage meetings outside of the Lower Mainland will be determined by each Local. Locals 500 and 502 will have a joint meeting at the Poirier Sports and Leisure Centre. 633 Poirier Street, Coquitlam, BC in Arena 1. This meeting will start at 9:00am prompt.
The ratification vote will be held on June 20 and 21, 2019 as per Local voting rules.
